Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration features the base game and season pass along with all-new content. Players can experience the co-op Endurance mode, brave the Extreme Survivor difficulty, and continue their adventure in Baba Yaga: The Temple of the Witch, Cold Darkness Awakened, Blood Ties, and Lara’s Nightmare DLC. In addition to that bevy of content, this edition includes an outfit and weapon inspired by Tomb Raider III and five new skins for Lara.
Normally retailing for $29.99, Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration was released on the Epic Games store on October 12, 2021. The base game was initially a timed exclusive for Xbox One and was released in November 2015. A year later, it was released for PlayStation 4 and PC. It was well-received by critics and fans alike, garnering high scores across the board. In particular, the graphics and breadth of content were highly praised.
The second in the Tomb Raider rebooted trilogy continued to improve on the already phenomenal Tomb Raider. Square Enix revived a franchise that had gone stagnant years before and brought it back to the forefront of gamers’ minds thanks to stunning graphics, innovative gameplay, and compelling new adventures. For anyone looking to replay it or wanting a new action-packed adventure to embark on, they could do a lot worse than this deal.
Rise of the Tomb Raider is available for Xbox 360, Xbox One, PC, PlayStation 4, and Stadia.
